MEDIA DESIGN / EDITORIAL NOTES
Check the licence behind the brand.
A logo, a familiar name or a comparison listing is not enough to confirm authorisation. Use the official Gambling Commission public register and check the specific service you intend to view.
Start with the legal entity
Record the legal company name, account number and remote licence reference. Do not confuse the regulator’s account number with a Companies House company number or a website’s own registration details.
Check the relevant activity
Look for the required remote activity and its current status. A permission for one activity is not automatically authority for every other activity or every jurisdiction. Great Britain authorisation does not itself establish availability elsewhere.
Match the domain
Use the entity’s domain-name page. Check spelling and the current status of the exact domain. Do not assume a similarly named website or a different ending belongs to the same business.
Read restrictions and regulatory history
The current licence summary and a business’s regulatory-action history answer different questions. Read relevant notices and restrictions rather than treating an active entry as a quality badge.
Recheck before relying on a snapshot
Our profiles record observations from 28 October 2026. They are not automatically updated and are not recommendations to gamble. Search the official business register (opens in a new tab) for current information.
